When we are working on a project, we look for the products best suited for our clients needs, but may typically pick the manufacturer that has Revit BIM Models available for representing the model within our design. We need accurate models that let us design with the knowledge the inserted equipment is properly sized. This helps us excel in developing our project files, coordinate amongst the many drawings and consultants we engage, and just makes our job easier. We’d like there to be BIM models available for any products and equipment that we need to specify, so, in many cases, we have to create these models for our own use.
